A lovely day, good food, and great company and conversation were all that was needed for a wonderful time. A total of 35 SIR and 23 guests participated.

You could smell the BBQ from Santa Clara, or so it seemed. Certainly hungry attendees' mouths watered as soon as they left their cars. The meats were a grillin' and perfectly timed for the corn, beans, garlic bread, and potato salad sides. Tables were loaded with these yummy vittles! Dessert and ice cream came later as prize numbers were drawn and gifts were chosen by the lucky ones from among bottles of wine and darling potted plants.
Members and guests, we're sure you would like to thank the Picnic Patrol for their organization and cooking prowess. They even seemingly ordered up the perfect weather! It was Phil Thomas, Tom Birley, and Bob Hebson expertly manning the grills. Bob Byers, Lynn Grilley, and Jeff Bautista came extra early in the morning to set up the picnic area in preparation for the action.
So next year mark the 3rd Thursday in June on your calendars and let's all gather together again to share a great meal and wonderful fellowship.
